listening to some new amsterdams, and for some reason i have 'spoils of the spoiled' in stereo but a couple guitar parts are *missing* on the ipod. the mix is all good but there's definitely a guitar missing...weird.
so here i am, at the office again past 9pm on a monday...this semester, is quite frankly, "kicking my ass."
i'm STILL rocking out to "open air" and its really good. my band has kinda, well, stopped practicing since i've been MIA all the time. i think we have some really good stuff, i didn't write really any of it, but i'm definitely holding the other guys back. i hope someone here's jim's genius because his, like jesse's, should not be contained.
jenna and i are working on wedding plans, yadda yadda yadda, and doing more important things like throwing the frisbee forehand, preparing for our first 5k together in two weeks, and making a mean, a MEAN burrito.
i caught part of the Nats' first game on the radio after lunch, an 8-4 loss to the dumb Phillies. i've never really liked jim thome, if not for any reason other than the fact that when he swings and misses (which is often), he swings backwards just as hard as he swung forward. i wonder if he thinks he can get it the second time around when the catcher is tossing it back. the o's won a nice 4-0 game i just learned behind surprising pitching, and even sammy sosa. looking forward to cheap baseball games in both baltimore and dc. and yes, i am wearing a nationals hat as i write this.
my computer is still dead, hence the little blogging. or no blogging. i'm gonna get it fixed i guess, or maybe i'll buy a mac mini with the same money (or nearly the same). there's is no way i will buy a pc though. no way. only if it was free.
and i'm last in my family's pool. for the 2nd year in a row. i was leading after two rounds, but you'll notice that illinois is playing tonight and not oklahoma st. (how's that for a sleeper pick that absolutely didn't happen?)
