what a game! i'm long time buckeye fan, way back to the days of glenn frey, scottie graham and even (groan) kent graham (plus jeff graham, he played for the steelers & bears in the pros) and i still can't believe they won tonight. what a game. and the team even had class, from the coaches to the players. lets hope the fans back in c-town can behave themselves this weekend.

tomorrow's a half-marathon time trial. jesse & i are weaving our way around bg for 13.1 miles in preparation for my race next week. we're not going to go all out, just a nice, solid pace for a really long time.

andrew, i'd like to read that book.

i talked with scott about girls for about 2 hours and let me tell you, it was the funniest conversation i've had in a while. we discovered the secret of relationships, and look out ladies, because here we come.

for those of you who are finished with school right now, i have some complaining to do: i'm still working on my independent study, so boo-hoo, i'll be going up to toledo a few times in the next week just to get caught up :(

did i mention to all the ladies that you better watch out?

the days go much faster when you wake up at 1pm, i guess i was tired. i think i'm still catching up from finals week.

jesse & i worked a lot on our man project, he's completely finished, but i still have a lot more drilling to do. i was looking through all my pictures, probably about 1500 in the last few years (for you skeptics, i've taken ten rolls each on two road trips, thats 480 picts right there, plus a semester of photography class) and so, needless to say, its a lot of memories. here's all the places i've been in the past two years: missouri-colorado-yellowstone, arizona, north carolina-georgia, north carolina-tennessee, north carolina-tennessee-virginia-washington d.c.-maryland- pennsylvania, michigan (u.p.), chicago, plus other road trips to kentucky, hocking hills, michigan (warren dunes, sleeping bear dunes, traverse city), pittsburgh, etc. thank the good Lord for traveling, and for safety for that matter. i've been to a lot of cool places.

jesse and i want to go to venezuela for spring break. the world's largest waterfalls are there.

on a down side though, i was lookin through all my pictures with justin and i think he was feeling sad that he wasn't in many of them-he's been in alaska for three years now. we're working on a trip for the summer as soon as we graduate.

speaking of graduating, i already have senior-itis. real bad.

my roommates came home, it was quite a nice surprise.

i can't stand "get into it" either. or "sooooo into it" or "innnntooooo iiiiiiit."

yeah, i'm finally back. christmas with the family was great, except jeff & kathleen had to leave late on the 24th to miss the snowstorm. kurt, justin, nolan and i went to midnight mass to catch the christmas celebration, and amidst 8 inches of snow, what could be better? i went to the park with tim on christmas day to take some photos of the snow, it was pretty serene.

then on the 26th i packed up and drove to covington, ohio where my friends pat, ray, erik and ben live. we drove around in 4 wheelers (not the little 4-wheelers, but actual jeeps) through the snow in the woods, and proceeded to get stuck going up a hill. so we used a toyota 4-runner to pull it out, it took us about an hour, and lets just say it was freezing outside.

the reason i went to covington is to hook up with my roommates who were going to a national convention as part of h2o church, the church i go to on campus. we met with 1700 other students from campuses across the U.S. to hear some awesome speakers and worship with an awesome band. after three days, i felt really stupid and discouraged and had to go and write my thoughts down for an hour, so as not to lose them. i was all over the place. but then on the last day, yesterday, things really came together and started clicking - mainly dealing with christians in the workplace, making $$, rather than working specifically for a church like a pastor or other staff member does. it was cool hearing from different people - guys with ph.ds in their field, but with such a yearning for God that they can worship him through and at work, where lots of 'missionary' work takes place. that's the long and short of it. i hope to share the whole thing at bible study, so as not to lose the effect from reading about my experiences online.

today then, is a new year. my "year in review" is not yet finished though. i was chillin with kurt all day, and heard about the stuff going on with him, then met up with jesse for a run and swung by the clark's house to usher in the new year with justin "netface" and associated company. it was fun.

i purposely leave a lot of things out of this weblog because, well, i want to have something to talk about when i see you. i hope this new year brings changes to your life, growth, and of course, much happiness and joy.
