i'm heading to maryland tomorrow afternoon for a small two-day trip if i can get a hold of enough apartment realtor people. what a pain the butt. and i kind of want to see where i'm going to live for the next year *before* i move in. if you'd like to hop along, give me a call.
i don't mean to say it...but i think i will...my summer vacation thus far has been too relaxing that i almost feel like its a waste. don't get me wrong, i love relaxing, i love seeing my old friends/roommates, but i feel horrible every day i wake up at 10:30 or 11. i get some crap done, i've read a lot, and i've started up a season in super tecmo bowl, but thus far these have been the highlights of my break. my earlier intentions, to find interesting people and to get to know them, to relish ('bask') in all that is summer, has so far been on the back burner. i have the most freedom i've had in months and its nothing i thought it would be.
so i'm at the library, studying fluid mechanics because i'm behind in that area with respect to grad school, this is how i will spend my afternoon. i should kick my own A.

i am finally completely moved in to the new apartment; 840 8th St. #112 I think. Look for the picture of alaska justin on our door, thats the one.
we had a bittersweet cookout the other day, to celebrate alaska_justin's return and to bid farewell to jesse. he left for the rockies on friday morning, believe. so i lost one best friend but got another the same day. that's ok, though i miss the 'hunk of burning love' already.
the summer is three weeks old and i think i've had my fill of relaxation. i'm starting to be restless. hopefully i'll hear of a job soon, or else i'm not sure how i'm going to afford the trips i have planned. i have four destinations right now: colorado, california, connecticut, and maryland, and i hope i can make it to each one right away. i can't wait to get there!
