the run last night was the best in a long time. i ran a hard 5K (i measured it after i ran) in about 21 minutes, which isn't really that good. but i was encouraged nonetheless, because i kept a sub-7 minute pace for a few miles. i ran through a mist and so by the time i was finished i was soaked, but it was great.
my run today was a good 61 minutes, run at a slow-medium pace, just building up some miles. probably 6 or 7, i'm not sure. my legs felt good because i ran on grass most of the time, though my shins are sore as i sit here typing this. being injured sucks.
i liked the rollerblade this morning, justin and kelly. as justin said, what a way to start a day.
oh, and justin you could film your crazy realization scene using mirrors, that would add to the suspense and cinematography effects. like, the guy realizes what's going on when he's sees himself in a mirror...if you know what i mean.
i'm really hungry but i have that post-run nausea feeling so i'm gonna chill and see what the parents have in their fridge.
hey justin: your youth group rocks. hey kelly and suzy: your youth group rocks. hey tim: go to youth group.
incredible - how much the youth leader sincerely cares about the youth - socially, spritually, and emotionally. i hope everyone realizes it.
and of course, congrats on the astros no-hitter, justin.
i actually worked today, it was all set up last-minute but it looks like i can work more if i want to, for this guy's moving company. i got up at 5:45am today, and worked until 6pm, so that should take care of the cell phone bill plus some of the gas money for my last few trips. the work wasn't that great, but its laid back, and its money, so we'll see what happens. but praise God for it, because i know it was getting down to the wire on some of these bills, and this opportunity came out of nowhere - i found out last night at 10pm.
anyway, i'm gonna go eat and then run on this rainy and humid day. and i can't wait.
"do you think she really has a headache?"
"what?"
"nothing."
i got back from missouri last night at a cool 2:30am with schumacher. that puts me a little over 2500 road miles in the last week. i love seeing the country and hanging out at universities, camping in the middle of nowhere, and basically get out of Ohio. though still, no job.
hey brian, i still read your blog. stuff happens over summer i guess.
anyway, i'm gonna go run i think. justin and i ran for about 55 minutes at some state park in missouri yesterday; we got lost on these atv trails and couldn't find a road for a while. but the dumb and dumber jokes kept us going, and we pulled through.
