and i'm back! california was awesome, the family (which is now six people, counting the sister-in-law) all went out for the last week. we saw some of the sights like "hollywood" in the hills and the stars on the sidewalk. we also hung out in san diego for a few days before heading back to huntington beach where my brother lives. jeff, kathleen, tim and i did some mean body-boarding in the ocean waves and i made a new revelation: SALT WATER SUCKS. Especially on open wounds. And it tastes especially horrible.

the first thing i did today (i got back to bg around 3am last night) was go to a sports doctor for my back this morning at 9:30 in toledo, and he stretched me and aligned my back, so now its back to being even again. that, with some anti-inflammatory pills should make everything normal, though another doctor's appointment in two weeks will tell for sure. i can't wait to rack my body with some mile repeats later today.

i'd rather not write a whole lot more in here because i just want to SEE PEOPLE and not stare at a computer. i leave for colorado on saturday so hopefully i'll catch you by then. i have a lot of things on my mind and i hope to share some ideas, but mainly, i want to hear from you and listen to your ideas. that's what i learned from my brother.

as justin mentioned in his blog, appreciate the rain, appreciate the green-ness of ohio and the midwest, because its definitely not out on the west coast (as matt can attest, i'm sure). that's what i missed the most. well maybe i missed me friends more. most of them, anyway.
