this summer has been killing me. the trips are great, the down times are suck. i don't know how else to put it without a 30 minute long conversation.
what nationality do I look like i'm from in this picture (second from left)? post your guess on the tagboard. then i'll tell you the real answer, and it has nothing to do with my last name (thank you patriarchal society).
bless the lord, back in bowling green, where the air is thick, the grass is green, and the roads are straight.
i'll post some pictures up when i get them back from el meijer. i didn't take my camera in to see reggie though. i'm not sure if anyone out there even knows who reggie and the full effect is, so let me tell you that they rocked 'so hard' (say it like jack black) in denver on the 12th. reggie is comprised of six people, all dressed in red suits and named 'paco' and all wore black wigs and fake mustaches that actually stayed on for the entire show. i can't even begin to describe the show here, just know that it was incredible.
as soon as we left the show, it was midnight, and justin and jesse sang happy birthday and gave me a reggie t-shirt.
birthdays are usually pretty fun, though spending 21 of its 22 hours (we lost two due to time zones) in a car is not how i would recommend spending the day. i was happy though to see my mom waited up for us just to see tim and i home, and to let me look (but not eat) the three raspberry pies in the fridge. i just wanted to hug someone.
i'll post pictures sometime, i'd rather tell you the stories in person.
