"so when are you leaving for maryland?"

followed by one or more of the following:
"are you excited?"
"are you nervous?"
"are you scared?"

at least once a day. i love it - it keeps me thinking about the move and i guess if that's what people associate with me (maryland, excitement, nervousness, and fear) then thats ok too.

i'm more anxious than anything - you have to remember that i visited the school a year ago this month and i've checked out their website at least every week since then. add to that the 6-month long application process and you can see that its been on my mind for a while. i can't wait to get out there, though i wish my friends could move with me.

and my friend jenna is going to haiti which is a lot cooler than maryland.

ha ha! it turns out i caught andrew at el zarape (where you almost need to ask: "waiter, can you please bring out the food a little slower? we just ordered and that was suspiciously wicked fast.") before he left and it was great to catch up. its great to see people going away for school and coming back sticking to their convictions and getting cooler all at the same time.

i just got back from doctor visit #4 and they told what they think is wrong with my legs, but they're not sure, so for now i basically have to live with some shin pain unless i want to get my muscles tested for pressure in each compartment in my leg. 'no thank you' to that. so that's way annoying but there isn't much to do about it.

or i could switch my focus to ultimate frisbee, like we played last night. the problem with ultimate is that some people are just wayy to into it and keep it from being fun. we'll see what grad school brings - my brother jeff is the captain of the #32 ranked team at arizona (maryland, in contrast is ranked #115 and bgsu is #135).

take a walk on a clear night and you'll love it.

man, i'm sorry i missed you andrew. i hope you're still in town.

and i hope the colorado kids are having the time of their lives!

my lacrosse gear is up to $54 now, with one day to go. this will be food money for the month of august.

i ran a 5k time trial today and it sucked. race day is less than two weeks away.

so i had some fun but still awkward times this weekend. i was the backup-family photographer at jesse's sister's wedding. the photo part was fun but i didn't really know anyone outside of jesse and his family. it was bittersweet because the jess-man was only in town for the weekend and i had to drive him to the airport yesterday. whenever he comes back to ohio (october?), i won't be living here anymore.

then jenna and i have been chillin way late, which is awesome because usually no one is around because they have "jobs." oh, and i played some home run derby with some old school friends and even 'made' a new friend, though i actually went to high school and college with her. i'll have to tell you the story later.

i'm gonna go call andrew right now.
