this weekend looks pretty hot already. on thurs after class is the maryland-virginia football game, televised on espn, starting sometime in the evening after a mean tailgate. both teams were ranked at the beginning of the year but have had mediocore seasons, though it should still be a good game. then on friday, it looks like jenna will make the drive out here and we're hitting georgetown with joe and his wife shannon, robin, and a hot girl of his choosing. georgetown is one of the coolest places i've ever been, up to the ann arbor-austin-boulder feel that you may have experienced. kinda more yuppie than hippie (a.a.) though.
music: fsf, how to start a fire

yesterday i hooked up with carly nutter, who i haven't seen in over a year and she randomly happened to be in town for the weekend and we went out on the town in georgetown. it was hilarious because we're at a bar and we're talking, and i'm thinking, "i'm in DC having a beer and chillin with carly. how cool is that?" we busted it out to some 80s anthem rock and i had the best time.
thanksgiving is only a couple weeks away, i'm so excited.
i kinda got lost driving home but i had jeff to talk to out in austin (justin!) where he was there for a conference and telling me how awesome the town is, i think he's been there a few times and so we're going to try and convince tim to go to u. texas. anyway, i got home a little after 3 and had to wake up at 8 to finish my take-home midterm, which was wrapped up at 11:11am on the dot, exactly 48 hours after i started it, as per the requirements. boy am i happy to have that done.
