okay, a music question or two:

is the get up kids "itunes" album any good? some of the cuts sound pretty rad.

is the lead singer of the postal service the same as death cab? sounds like it. i heard it in barnes & noble in georgetown of all places, and asked the manager who was playing because i was into it.

is the dashboard track any good?

maryland basketball is sick. they go from being a team on the bubble two weeks ago, not likely to make it to the ncaa tournament, to ACC champions, beating four ranked teams in ten days. thats unreal. and now, they are a #4 seed in the NCAA tourney, meaning that the bracket people think they're one of the top 16 teams in the country.

oh, and they beat duke in overtime today. i love it!

jenna humored me by going to espnzone in baltimore to watch the game with a packed crowd that was chanting and cheering the whole game. she'll be a terp fan, just give me some time.

karthik and i went to the basketball arena where the team presented the school with the ACC trophy. this is unreal. i have pictures to come soon.

i checked out a church with jenna this morning, its kinda hard going 'church-shopping' because we're looking for one like covenant for her in baltimore, but so far we haven't found anything really convincing. last week we were the only white people in a huge apostolic church that was bouncing and shaking for three hours. it was a cool experience. this week we were at a non-denominational church where there wasn't anyone who wasn't white in the congregation (we really notice these things now) and the teaching was good, the band was good, almost too good though. too good to the point where everything was cheesy-sounding and sounded like an over-produced album. so we're back at the start again, hopefully we'll find a good mix soon.

my brother jeff & kathleen flew in on friday morning and we spent the night in georgetown with some friends; they left for pittsburgh yesterday to visit kathleen's family. we'll hook up again tomorrow and the rest of the week for some basketball, running, and lots of vegetarian meals.

then on friday (i changed my flight) its one big happy reunion in chicago, thats five days from now!
