ouch, my final exam for helicopter dynamics is going to be next saturday. why saturday? so we have enough time. the exam starts at 9am, and in the words of my professor, "bring your lunch."
the diamondback today printed a listing of all salaries for all faculty members - something not done at BGSU. i saw that my advisor makes about $116K, about the average for my department. two people make over $200,000 - not including any special grants, titles, editor-ships, or whatever other sort of income, which probably doubles their maryland salary. and i also learned that my advisor is finishing a proposal thats so big that it would basically fund all of his grad students for a few years, plus a new parallel processing supercomputer. holy shee is right.
my prayers are with the bghs family too. and justin, of course. hope all goes well thursday.
another weekend blog. friday was georgetown with jenna and ray, probably for the last time since ray's leaving for ohio in a few weeks. tear. its been cool with a slice of BG in town this semester, we've definitely had some good times. and owing up for bets. it was finally a warm spring night and our walks were fantastic. and 90% of men are pigs, don't let the nice ones fool you. its sad.
saturday we ran in alexandria on the potomac. it was a beautiful day again, so jenna and i metro'd back to maryland and laid around a park all day. night was some chill with meghan and jim and lots of churchies there. even chris rufo from rossford was there, another slice of home in a foreign state.
sunday the band rocked out acoustic, it was brilliant, and the church had so much energy. jeff's talk on homosexuality was incredible: balanced, honest, and full of God's truth. you will find no hate in his sermon; only love. the way it should be.
some frisbee this afternoon, followed by some more relaxing with jenna here before she took off for bmore. for some reason all my time with jenna is spent relaxed, except for when we go out with friends or something. i like it that way. low maintenance, low stress, full of peace. the way God intended, i think.
two more weeks of class: four homeworks, one paper/presentation, two exams. on the homestretch. lets go!
