man the red sox look GOOD and so do the cards. go 'stros, though i'm not convinced yet...the series will go to 5 i bet. twins?
this weekend brings a trip to the eastern shore of MD for a chance to get away from the city for a day. maybe some ballin' and tossin the 'bee around some. serene.
and another big decision - jenna has to have surgery to 'reconstruct' her ACL and so we're wondering where and when to do this. go home? or tough it out here? she'll be in bed for a few days, then on crutches for a while, and phys therapy, etc. who knewe dance auditions could be so dangerous? and who knew so much crap could happen to one person in the span of a year?
my marathon is but three weeks away and suddenly i lost all my motivation. maybe its because life has picked up - but i'd rather sit on my couch and watch baseball than go run 10 miles. strange as it may sound, that was not the case for the last five months. maybe i'm just burned out a little. the next few days will be: 10 today, 7 tomorrow, 5K race sunday, rest monday, 20 miles on tuesday, rest wednesday, 5 easy on thurs, intervals on fri, rest sat, 10K race on sunday. and then the taper starts officially :)
wags - are you in cbus? whats going on? i'll venture over to you bloggy blog but last time i checked the updates were a long time a-coming. not that i'm any better :)
waiting for my graph to print. its all i've been doing for the last few days. go astros though! i want to see clemens win a game 7 against the yanks. wait, no i'd rather the yanks lose in the first round, so maybe twins and astros? nah, it'd be sweet to see the red sox lose again. last year i was all about them but for some reason i don't care much for them anymore, much less the cubbies. go senators!
aerospace engineering flag football. that says it all. that mixed with a reeeealllly easy 5 miles makes my day fly by with all the other work going on. you know, i'm starting to apply for jobs in april already? well, not apply yet....just looking around. but after last week's career fair i realize how versatile my degrees are and how i really am not sure what i'm looking for...a degree to use everything i've studied in the past year or a job that is fun and simply requires lots of thinking and common sense? i'd prefer the latter these days, eh matt edwards?
i took jenna to the doc today. torn acl. this is starting to be unbelievable.
my paper just printed. a clif bar, and i'm on my way home.
