i saw this on espn today: Lance Berkman tears ACL during church flag football game; may miss start of '05 season. same injury as jenna. but its lance berkman, and they list specifically that it was at church. he was probably worshiping the LORD there.
i did vote where my values are and it may not be where you think they are. its more along the lines of the sojourners' article andrew sent around. i've been talking about these ideas for a while.
this weekend is to athens, next weekend to nyc, the following back to ohio. weekend trips are where its at. my thanksgiving schedule is already filling up but i would really like to get a coffeeshop gig with justin, mike, joel, and other covenant people i've been missing. and of course everyone else too. but i've missed those three for the last few trips back.
call me naive but i base my 'liking' of nfl football teams completely on tecmo super bowl. the colts? they were horrible. vikings? they were fun to be. jets? sorry. lions? barry sanders, yep. browns were horrible. chiefs were fun. 49ers were too talented and were off limits for most games. the giants had lt in the first and meggett in the second, plus cool blue and black uniforms.
