maybe i talk about college basketball too much here, but i don't care.
maryland's been playing some horrible basketball lately, and though they have shown flashes of greatness, they hadn't put it all together for a solid 40 minutes yet this season.
but tonight, they went to the home of the dukies and put on a show. stifling defense, somewhat impressive offense, and even starting two reserves who hadn't started all year. and maryland won. duke received its first loss *of the year,* and even at home. it was unbelievable.
so college park was nuts tonight, i celebrated with karthik and vinit by watching espn college gamenight over and over again, toasting every time the maryland score was shown on the bottom of the screen.
what a game. heart, defense, and some key shots at the end of the game. go terps.
i also saw garden state tonight with jenna, and somehow i imagined it as less of a love story, but still props to the shins - their albums are solid. do i look like natalie portman? somehow...
