well, here i am again. i hope you still read this, i really do. i know i haven't posted much lately - but i will as soon as this semester is over. which will happen one of these days...
jenna and i are finishing up our wedding preparations. the tickets to jamaica came in the mail the other day...helloooo, paradise.
i just finished sending off a conference paper that i have to present in toronto in a couple of weeks. well, just the rough draft anyway. the helicopter design project is nearing completion, my two chapters are rock solid i think.
i happened to get out for an afternoon to see a nationals game vs. the cubs on saturday. after a 2 hour, 40 minute rain delay, the Nats played really well and won 4-3. RFK stadium sucks though. the loudspeakers. the field. the entire complex is really old and crappy. the seats are still painted in redskins colors, and they haven't played there in years. i can't wait to get back up to camden yards this summer to catch some $5 baseball games. they're even in first place! and get this...on a wednesday, you can go to wendy's, buy a combo meal, and take the receipt to the ticket office to get free tickets...as many as you want! last year we took 9 people in after eating a hefty amount of spicy chicken sandwiches.
