i'm supposed to defend my thesis in two weeks but that may be pushed back...some results haven't come in like they should. so our moving date to cinci is up in the air, but we'll be there by the last week in august for sure.
anyway, its been sad to say goodbye to friends out in maryland (or at least, starting to say goodbye). we're excited about the move to ohio but have realized we've had a lot of fun here, too.
the raffy palmeiro situation has been nuts here, and being somewhat of an o's fan, really disappointing. we have tickets to see the o's on the first day raffy comes back, will he be booed or cheered?
looks like i (we) may be lacing up the shoes for another race next year, maybe marathon distance. justin and jay are talking about it. this of course after i said i'd never do another one again after i finished my first one. its idiotic, insane, nearly impossible, and incredibly hard to run 26.2 miles. but i think i'm going to do it again.
i was surprised to hear the distortion on justin's new album, but its good. i think most of your recent stuff has been acoustic/mandolin-y. mike, 'africa' was great to listen to too. when can we expect these releases to be official?
