quick blog here while my thesis converts from .ps to .pdf. the job started, i'm a regular 8-5 guy suddenly, for the first time in my life officially. gone is the randomness of grad school, and with it hopefully, the late nights and lowwwww pay.
working on a little set myself, maybe on acoustic b/c that's what i play these days, maybe with jenna doing some lyrical work since i'm abysmal at that. gosh i would love to record, not just me, but people much more talented than me, like mike oates or jesse ascunce or justin edwards or scott cunningham or michael edwards or ashley bradford or jim thompson. but of course the edwardses already have their studio, mike is in columbus, jesse in boulder, ashley in connecticut, and jim in maryland. that leaves scott, who just recorded his own record. i guess its down to me.
well the thesis is finished converting so here's the time for one final run-through before i ship it off to maryland. and hopefully it won't be shipped back.
my first day on the job tomorrow. i'll be at belcan doing whatever it is i'm going to be doing. it feels like the day before school starts. the past two weeks in cincy we haven't really done much, getting settled in and running and driving all over ohio it seems. so with reluctance i'll start this job but at least that means i'll also be getting a paycheck.
